Outplacement Services (Mexico only)
 
Due to the abundance of strong outplacement firms that exist in the U.S. and Canada, Qualifind’s outplacement programs are limited to Mexico and other Latin American countries.
 
Qualifind offers outplacement services to clients interested in reducing risks of litigation or other transitional issues associated with employee terminations or operational downsizing or plant closures. We offer customized solutions to develop the terminated employees’ skills, knowledge and attitude toward making a successful transition in their work life and to show the employer’s concern and respect under potentially contentious conditions.
 
Qualifind has the experience and cultural sensitivity to offer a variety of options to meet you and your employee’s transitional needs. We have conducted outplacement projects at our corporate offices, but they are most often conducted at our client’s operational sites to minimize employee downtime during potentially demanding times.
 
Qualifind has provided outplacement services to such clients as Johnson & Johnson Medical, Seagate, Emersen Electric and Ingersoll Rand, among others. We can provide you a list of references upon request.
 

We offer a free initial consultation in order to better determine what your needs are. With that we can develop a customized program of on-site or off-site career development workshops for people who will be displaced from their job and need the skills, knowledge, and morale building reinforcement that is essential for an effective transition.

 

Our programs include the following basic elements:

 

Individual consultations and needs assessments prior to termination (when possible).

Administration of a variety of exercises and tests (both in workshop and individual sessions) to provide individuals a better understanding of their work preferences and how that impacts their work/life decisions.

Facilitation of a career development workshop in Spanish or English (for groups) or personal assessment (for individuals) to determine what their interests, skills, values, and professional history is.

Work with the individual to develop an effective job search plan and strategy that includes their goals, resources, personal time management and a review of current job market conditions that impact their specific discipline.

Present effective interview techniques in workshop or individual basis. Provide office resources to include clerical assistance, telephone, fax, computer (including access to specialized Internet resources), copies of resumes, mail and other tools to help the individual launch an effective job search campaign.

We offer follow-up access to outplacement participants to foster a successful transition to a new job. We can encourage and assist participants in completing the tasks and activities of their job search plan.

 
It is in the best interest of the employer to begin an outplacement program as soon as it is determined that an employee/s need to be separated from the company. We can provide you with a free initial consultation to assist in planning and implementing a customized program that includes the essential severance concerns, required notice, survivor support and exit interviews.
